A Word From The

| Parents and
Students: We are hitting the final stage of the
semester. Exam blitz will be going on all week this week
after school. I would really like to encourage all of my
students to attend the exam blitz. They will get a lot
of practice with exam type questions and get a good
review of the material we covered in class all this
year. I cannot emphasize enough the importance of the
final exam, especially now that if they do not hit
proficiency on the exam they cannot pass the course and
will have to retake the exam over again. Not to mention,
the exam grade counts 25 % of their final grade. The
proficiency grade is an 81. There is no reason why they
cannot get this grade if they will just put in some
study time for the exam. Parents, if you ever need to get in

you ever want to know what we are doing in class or
check and see what is for homework, all you need to do
is go to the webpage and click on lesson plans. I update
these every Friday for the following week. I also use
Cougar E-grades, so both the students and parents can
keep up with your averages in biology throughout the
semester.
