       Write out Act. 7 page 5 underlining correct verb choice (conjugate the verb)--then translate this paragraph into Spanish.   Hmwk due thursday Sept 1: Verb review packet.:.girls do all even #s/ boys the odd numbers.

 31: Retrieve and prax shoe verbs (oral); Original frases w/ verbos zapatos;  Dictation on homework (Act. 7 p.5); HMWK:  LP (Libro de Práctica) p.3 # 1,3,5,6,7. p. 4 # 1-5;  Verb review packet (as above).

 2: CHAPT EXAM--"Para Empezar" info  Bk pgs. 1-13.  Hmwk: para martes--leer libro p. 16,17.  Estudia vocab p. 16;  p.17 Write out and translate Act 2

 26: Clase: get back Vista 1 Gramm Exam/ review, go over hmwk from page (book) 45--preterite vs imperfect.  , come up w/ competition poster plan w/ partner. , work on vocab worksheet w/ partner as prep for quiz. Hmwk: study for vocab production quiz--Vista 2 words.., finish worksheet (vocab) if not completed in class.

27: Clase : review worksheet/ prax vocab/  vocab Vista 2 production quiz/  Partner work on cartel .  Hmwk: nada  (and we're not talking swimming here! :) )
28: Hmwk:  Be prrepared to give  poster presentation; complete imperfect worksheet.
29: Hmwk: finish all poster presentations--plan on a chapt test on/before Wed of next week.

Oct 3-7
 3:In class: finish personal stories( groups of 4)/ Shared imperfect tense verb quiz/ Watch film travelogue about the Road of St. James (El Camino de Santiago)/ Intro to Adelante! text p. 48.  Hmwk finish reading El Camino de Santiago..be prepared to answer question in comprendiste p. 49/ Make sure your group has 3 illustrations for the original cuento that you will be telling the class tomorrow. Chapt 1 Vista 2 exam is Thursday 6 Oct.
 4: No homework...but study for Chapt test on Thursday
 5: En clase: "Deportes en el Mundo Espanol" video...hmwk: LP>p.20 & 21..write p. 21 out on your own paper..do not remove from book.   Study for Chapt 1/Vista 2 exam tomorrow (Thursday) vocab+ imperfect--some of vocab is from the vista 1 section.  Be able to tell about what happened during a sporting (or other competitive ) event --this happened in the past so will need to use past time verbs.

 14: Hmwk: for Monday-- preterite/imperfect packet..do the first 4 each section  (12 total)..THINK as you write...be able to do remaining  sentences if need be.

24: Clase--practica de vocabulario/Bingo/repasar tarea (LP<29).  Hmwk: Libro--p. 85 Act 26...make sure you've made the "false" sentences "true" ; p.86  Act 28..write out the non-matching word (not just the letter) and then create a stellar sentence using this word; Act 29..Answers only...but be sure you know what you're reading!  In the Libro de Practica.....Choose between Ser and Estar (conjugate both in the imperfect) p. 30--ejercicio 2-10

 Oct 31-Nov 4
 31: short day...perfect to review for Chapt test on Tuesday (1 Nov)
   1:  Chapt Test 2 / Vista 2 -- No homework  (lo siento!)
   2: Dia de los Muertos: Activities suitable for the day.  Vocabularylearning activities as well.

7: Vocab quiz Ch 3 recognition left column + expresiones utiles + added words.
8: Vocab quiz: Ch 3 production of Monday's quiz words
9: Vocab quiz: Ch 3 recognition of  Vista 1 nutrition words Hmwk:  Book Act 18, p.125
