 30 - Intro new shopping lesson ( 2B)+ famous Spanish painter Diego Velazquez.  Hmwk: LP<38,39.
 1- Hmwk: finish Preterite worksheet and Act 1 &2 of Videohistoria in Libro de Practica.Vocab quiz on Wednesday (2B recognition of  first 1/2)
 2- Vocab prax /  Vocab Quiz / preterite practice/ get question sheet for Friday turn-in / Hmwk. know preterite endings of all types of verbs for quiz tomorrow.
 4- Hmwk LP< p.47 (X-word) >42  Chapt 2B Exam on Monday

LP< p. 50 (just 1,2,3) p. 51 all vocab.  Voc quiz (recognition) on just circles lists of 3A vocab.
9: Hmwk. Videohistoria 3A comprendiste questions..p.133
10-In class..Discuss Videohistoria,/  intro irregular stem preterites( past time verbs) tener= tuv---, etc./  Review direct object pronouns and where they go in sentences.  Hmwk:  Question sheet using irregular stem preterites and -ir (see how to form these if you need review  book p. 140,142)  On back of this sheet write out answers to Book Act 19, p.142..Don't forget vocab quiz: 3A ^ (top part) production and  3A bottom part just recognition (ie, you write in English)....Pay special attention to the "other words and expressions" on the second quiz....lots of little words that we use well in phrases, but might not recognize by themselves.
11: take up homework/vocab test review/ Vocab quizzes/  make a Mother's Day card.

15: Homework: LP< p. 60, 61 A / Tarjetas 3B due tomorrow/ Vocab recognition test to
     tomorrow (16th) on first list of vocab words.

 17: read p. 168. write out Activity 16 in text
18: Jr./Sr. picnic: 1st period finish dialogues, have teacher-ready for Monday; 4th period work on dialogues (with those students remaining from picnic) Monday be ready for production (write Spanish) of words tested on Wed. (1st list from chapt 3B) !st period be ready to give dialogues! (also)

 21: Class: vocab review and quiz, practice dialogues.  First period homework: Read in text p. 171, do first 5 (1-5) of LP<p.68..Present progressive ie., "am doing"..I am eating= estoy comiendo, etc
 22: Homework: Complete vocab translation story.  On reverse side write out  10 (1st period) or 5( 4th period) short original sentences using  the irregular present perfect construction that are on vocab sheet or in the book p. 171.  Period 1 will be taking recognition quiz on 3B vocab#2; Period 4 will be giving dialogues.  All students will have a chapter test on Thursday (chapt 3B).

  8-   graduation at 6:30...come early to get a seat inside the gym!   Ticket-holders only inside
