Housing and Interiors II...Semester Project

Requirements

• choose a 2-story house from (architecturaldesigns.com)

• must be between 2500 and 3500 square feet

• print out color sketch of home and floor plans

• draw 1st and 2nd level floor plans to 1/8" scale...get paper from Mr. Westmoreland

• 2/8/08      1^st and 2^nd floor plans drawn to 1/8” scale

• 2/12/08      1^st floor furnished & rendered

• 2/14/08    2^nd floor furnished & rendered

• 2/18/08    entryway perspective drawn

•  2/21/08    elevation oblique of entire kitchen drawn

•  2/19/08    perspective of living room drawn

• 2/26/08       oblique master bath drawn

•  3/3/08         perspective of a favorite room, such as:  a theatre, game room, guest room, a screen porch, a sunroom, etc. drawn

•  3/6/08         large view of house front in color

•  3/7/08         begin axon of entire 2^nd floor

• 4/1/08    begin internship

End Product should be:

• inked

• completely rendered

• shaded and shadowed

• all individual items matted

• a minimum of 6 samples

• title

• design statement

• layed out beautifully on black foam board

Photostory will be completed before applications to presentation boards
