        Your child is being taught a year-long, combined English I / English II course that is presented in units covering the writing process, nonfiction, fiction, poetry, drama, the epic, and required novels.  On your child's schedule this semester, the course is entitled World Literature.  Next semester, the course will be called Language Arts.  Each week, I will post the assignments for that week on my web page.  See below:

January 7-11

Since this is the week before exams, our schedule will be the same for each day except Monday.  Please encourage your child to review each day and not to wait until the night before an exam to study.
