Accents, Tildes, and Punctuation marks
For MS Word:
In order to type insert
these things when you type in Spanish, do the following:
1. To type the tilde
(~) for the letter "n":
Ex. Hold down CRTL +
SHIFT + ~ (top left button with the ~), then release & hit n = ñ
2. To type an accent
on a vowel:
Ex.
CRTL + ' (apostrophe button), then release and hit the vowel = CRTL + ' +
e = é
3.
To type the upside down
question mark or exclamation point:
Ex.
Hold down CTRL + ALT + SHIFT + ? or ! = ¿ or ¡
*If you need to make
an accented letter capitalized: Hold down CTRL + Apostrophe, then hold down
SHIFT + the letter. Ex. CTRL + ' , then release and hold SHIFT + E =
