To install a virtual version of a calculator on your home computer, please follow these basic steps...

Download Your Very Own Virtual Calculator!

1. Go to the following website:

          http://education.ti.com/educationportal/downloadcenter/SoftwareDetail.do?website=US&appId=177

2.  Click the "TI-83 Plus SDK" Link

3.  Click the continue as guest

4. Click the RUN button on the pop-up window

5. If you see an Internet Explorer Security Warning, click RUN

6. Click the Continue button

7. Click the Yes Button on the License Agreement Box

8. Click the Next button to begin setup

9. Click the Next button to install in teh specified folder

10. Click the Next button to add the application to the program group

11. Click the Next button to start copying files

12. Click the Finish button to complete setup

13. Your computer must be restarted in order to complete the setup of this program.  At this time you can click the OK button to restart your computer. You may also click Cancel to restart your computer at a later time. The calculator application will NOT work properly until you restart your computer!

14. Once you have restarted your computer... TI-83 Plus Flash debugger will show up as an icon on your desktop

15. Double click on the icon

16. Click File

17. Click New

18. Choose the calculator you want (TI-83+)

19. Click on Debug (at the top) and choose GO

20. The calculator will show up and it is ready to use.
