Final Exam Project Rubric

Objective: Students will prepare for the Algebra II EOC by creating their own cumulative final exam.

Points are awarded on an “all or nothing” basis.  You must complete each task, to receive points.

Requirements:
1)    Your exam should be made up of 50 multiple choice questions. (10 points)

2)    Your exam should be made up of 5 questions from each of the first ten
       chapters of your text book. Do not cover material that was not taught.
       (10 points)

3)    Your exam should include at least 2 word problems form each of the ten
       chapters. These are applications of material. Do not copy from textbooks
     (10 points)

4)    Your exam should be typed or handwritten NEATLY on white, unlined
        paper with all answer choices legible. (15 points)
 

5)    Your exam should have the questions in order from the beginning of the
       book to the end with each chapter clearly labeled next to the questions
       from that chapter. (15 points)

6)   Include with your exam (but on separate paper) should be an answer key to
       your exam with every question worked out completely with the correct
       answer. (20 points)

7)    Your exam questions should be original.  They should not be copied
        from old tests or out of your textbook. Do not copy problems from the
        book, the internet, or each other.  (20 points)

This project is due: Friday, January 11th, 2008
No late projects will be accepted

Projects are due at the beginning of class on the due date.  If you are absent, the project still needs to be turned in on time.
