AP Language and Composition Summer Reading Assignment

Students enrolled in AP Language and Composition should complete the summer reading assignments for juniors enrolled in Honors American Literature.  While there is no official summer reading assignment for this class, I highly recommend that you prepare yourself for the course by getting into the habit of reading well-written nonfiction texts and familiarizing yourself with current events.  One of the best ways to do so is by frequently reading a renowned newspaper such as The New York Times or Washington Post.  Both are available free online.  Make one of them your homepage; read an article everyday.   Don't limit yourself to the headlines: explore articles on travel, fashion, sports, science, and technology.  Enjoy!
