Download Syllabus (90 day plan)   Important: Please Review the following information!!!   The State of North Carolina dictates the curriculum for General Biology. A copy of the Biology curriculum can be obtained at the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction by selecting science, 9-12, then Biology.   To evaluate student mastery of the Biology Curriculum the state adminsters an End-of Course Test (EOC) at the end of the semester. This evaluation serves as the final exam and accounts for 25% of the course average.   The syllabus for this course is designed to expose students to the information outlined in the Biology curriculum. This will be done through lectures, labs, and various activities which should prepare them for the EOC as well as foster an interest in the life sciences.
