I was born in Wilmington, NC in 1959, thus making me  50?  OMG! After graduating from New Hanover High School, I attended college at the University of North Carolina - Wilmington. There I received a BS Degree in Marine Biology. After graduation I began my professional career ---- as a waiter! Although the money was great I decided to return to school where I received a Master Degree in Science Education at East Carolina University. I was employed at Jacksonville High School as a Life Science Teacher for 16 years. I have been teaching at  Croatan High School for ten years,  teaching AP Biology and General Biology.
