 | Classroom rules are clearly posted in the classroom. Students are responsible for following these rules and all school rules while in class. |
| Students are expected to have the appropriate assigned textbook and/or supplemental text with them daily. |
| Students are to remain in their seats until I dismiss the class. |
| Students are expected to have the necessary supplies with them daily. Please see the SUPPLIES site if you are unsure of the required supplies. |
| Students should be present in class each day. In order to earn credit for a course, not only must the student pass the course they must also be present at least 82 class periods of the semester. |
| If a student is absent, make-up work should be scheduled with me immediately upon return to school. Make-up work is the student's responsibility. Students are to contact me within two days of an absence to make arrangements for completing missed assignments. |
| Late projects or compositions will be accepted, but ten points will be deducted for each class period the assignment is overdue. |
| Students should maintain an organized English notebook and bring it to class with them daily. |
| Students should be inside the classroom when the tardy bell rings. |
| Students should not bring food, gum or drinks in the classroom. |
