Policies and Procedures

1.  Bring the following to class every day:

• Notebook

• Textbook

• #2 pencils for testing only

• Blue or black pens

2.  Be in your seat and ready to work before the tardy bell rings.  Begin "ECA" assignment immediately upon taking your seat.

3.  Remain in your seat until the dismissal bell rings unless you have permission to leave your seat.

4.  Homework will be collected daily during "ECA" time.  Place homework on desk as soon as you are seated.  DO NOT work on homework during class time.  No credit will be given if done so.

5.  Respect other people's property and feelings.  Do nothing that interferes with the learning of others.

6.  All work submitted must have the following information recorded on the paper:

• Your name

• Date

• Period

• A specific title on the top line

• note:  All work should be written in ink only.  Cursive writing is encourage and preferred!

7.  Turn in your work on time and neatly done.  All classwork goes in the assignment basket.  Homework should not be placed in the basket but will be collected by Ms. H.

8.  Budget your time!  Take care of your personal needs befor you come to class.  Follow class sign-out procedure.  Do not pack your belongings unti the lesson is concluded.  Ms. H will give the closing cue for packing up.  Every minute counts!!!  Budgeting your time wisely will have a positive impact on your grade.

9.  Use standard, appropriate English.

10.  All rules in the Carteret County and Croatan Handbooks must be obeyed.
