Behavioral Expectations

·        Be seated upon entering the room so that class begins promptly when the   tardy bell rings. 

      ·       Bring pens, pencil, highlighter, notebook, notebook paper, and books
           to class.

       ·       Respect one another’s space.  Keep your hands, feet, and objects to  yourself.

·         Show respect for others, including teachers, administrators, students, and   school guests.      Avoid   teasing, gesturing, harassing, or using inappropriate  language.  Kindness counts!

·         Stay awake in class.  No putting head down on desk.

·         Food, soda, and grooming are inappropriate for the classroom.  Water bottles are allowed.

·         Keep the room and its furnishings clean.  Trash is not to be left in desks.

      ·         Remain in the classroom.  Students will not be allowed to leave the class
            to go to guidance, the  student center, the office, to get water, or to make a phone call. 

·         Remain seated until the bell rings for dismissal.

·         Follow all CHS Handbook policies and procedures.

 

Cheating
 
   ·  All of the following are examples of cheating:

1.  Copying someone else’s work.

2.  Allowing someone to copy work.

3.  Giving answers to a classmate.          

4.  Submitting someone's work as one's own work. This includes copying from books, the internet, magazines, or newspapers.

1.    Zero on the assignment.

2.    Unsatisfactory conduct grade for the six weeks grading period.

          3.    Notification of principal and parent.
