May 25, 2008: NC Seafood Festival Scholarship - $1000! Seniors must come from a family that derives a majority of their income from the business of commercial fishing OR be entering college with an intended study in the Marine Science field. Also, applicants must demonstrate some level of community involvement and exhibit good moral character. Applications can be picked up with Ms. Stewart.

June 1, 2008: Buddy Pelletier Surfing Foundation Scholarship - Seniors must be surfers enrolling in college regardless of majors or professional goals. Applications are in the counseling center.

June 6, 2008: Miss North Carolina Teen USA - The pageant will be held November 14-15 in High Point, NC. Females must be between ages 14-19 years old. There is no talent competition! The new Miss NC Teen USA will receive a full academic scholarship to High Point University along with a fabulous prize package! See Ms. Stewart if you are interested!
