| Mr. Mayo teaches math at Croatan High School in Newport, NC where he was named the school's first Teacher of the Year in 1999. He entered the teaching profession through the Lateral Entry Program upon his retirement from the Marine Corps in 1994 and was recently designated a Nationally Board Certified Teacher. Mr. Mayo lives in Emerald Isle, NC with his wife and three children where he enjoys music, reading, training for triathlons. More . |
