How to Get Here

Heading east on NC Hwy 24: After passing through Swansboro, you will enter Carteret County and pass through the small communities of Cedar Point, Cape Carteret, Bogue, and Ocean. (about 7 miles) Croatan High School will be on the right. There is a well-marked entrance at a traffic light. (Croatan is the building behind the Bogue Sound Elementary School – closest to the water.)

Heading east on NC Hwy 70: After passing through Havelock, you will enter Carteret County and pass through the small town of Newport. At the 3rd stoplight in Newport, turn right on Hibbs Road and proceed to the next stoplight (Hwy 24). Turn right on Hwy 24 and proceed for approximately 5 miles. Croatan High School will be on the left. There is a well-marked entrance at the 2nd traffic light. (Croatan is the building behind the Bogue Sound Elementary School – closest to the water.)

From Morehead City: Take Hwy 24 West and proceed for approximately 7 miles. Croatan High School will be on the left. There is a well-marked entrance at the 4th traffic light on Hwy 24. (Croatan is the building behind the Bogue Sound Elementary School – closest to the water.)
