Teacher recommendations will be required for AP and Honor’s course selection.

(a) Registration forms will contain a place for teacher signature next to every AP and Honor’s course.

(b) Students must obtain a signature from the teacher of any prerequisite course.

(c) Mid-year re-evaluation to determine if prerequisites are actually met.  Counselors will check registration forms for missing teacher signatures.

(d) A procedure will be created to insure that misplaced students will be identified in a timely manner.

Teachers and counselor will adhere to prerequisite guidelines when placing or advising students interested in AP and Honor’s courses.
