Mrs. Pittman's Discipline Policy

1st offense: Verbal Warning

2nd offense: Sign into behavior book with their name and behavior

3rd offense: Sign into behavior book and walk 10 minutes during their recess time

4th offense: IF a student continues to this stage they will call their parents and inform them of the choices they are making, and depending on the behavior may go to a time out down the hall.

Severe behavior/fighting- will result in an automatic trip to the office

Along with signing into the behavior book the students will meet with me one on one and fill out an infraction form indicating what they did and how they could make better choices next time. The infraction form will be sent home and signed by parents. At the end of each week students whom have not signed into the behavior book more than one time will be eligible for "Fun Friday". Fun Friday will consist of the following rewards

*Extra Recess

*Ice Cream

*Extra Computer time

*Board games

*Kickball game

I will also use positive reinforcement for those students whom are staying on task through out the day. Their rewards will be: free homework pass, candy, cub paws, phone call home to let parents know what wonderful choices their child is making.
