Elements and Applications

Students taking Art Foundations I will engage in sequential learning experiences introducing them to the recognition, understanding, and application to the Elements and Principles of Art as well as exploring various techniques and processes for traditional art media. Student will engage in projects that encompass art history, art criticism, aesthetics, and production and lead to the creation of portfolio quality artwork. Specifically, students in this class will learn the prerequisites needed to excel in all other art courses.
