Tuesday	Core 1: Finish Order of Operations W/S. Be prepared to run the 100 meter dash. Proper clothing. Athletic shoes or tennis shoes that tie securely. Remember timing devices. Core 2 :Finish Wk. 1 Essential questions and complete mental math portion. THIS HAS BEEN COLLECTED. 2. Memory the first 25 primes. Next Wednesday, 9/10/083. "The Phone Problem" and "Dodger Stadium" word problems will be discussed on Thursday. Work on these. All Cores: BE READY TO RUN THE 100 METER DASH. See directions above for Core 1. Cores 3 and 4: Have Weekly Essential Wk. One complete. Show work on loose leaf paper.
Wednesday	Core 1: 100 meter run today. No additional homework. Core 2: Set up "Dodger Stadium" and "The Telephone Number." Core 3: 100 meter run today. Complete "Order of Operations" W/S 1-10 (bonus # 11.) Show work on worksheets. There are at least 2 steps per equation. Core 4: 100 meter run today. No additional homework.
Thursday	Core 1: Subtract the World Record times for the 100 M from Core 1 student times. Boys, complete this assignment only for boys' times. (9.69 sec.) Girls, complete this assignment only for girls' times (10.49 sec.) Core 2: Finish ordering and organizing Core 1 and Core 2 100 Meter times. Use three groupings: fastest to slowest times for all students in each class as well as fastest to slowest times for boys and girls. Core 3 and Core 4: Finish ordering and organizing Core 1 and Core 2 100 Meter times. Make a list for each core.

Wednesday	Core 1: Week One Essential. Core 2: No additional homework. Core 3: Write down 5 observations about the "Magic Cards," Cards A, B, C, D, and E. Core 4: Continue with Week One Essential.
