Media Center Information

 

 

 The BMS Media Center houses a variety of over 8,600 materials that meet the information needs of every student.  These materials include reference materials, fiction and non-fiction books, information resource CDs, videos, and educational software.
 
  • 40 magazines and 2 newspapers (USA Today and The Carteret County News-Times)
  • 7 Computers -- 5 Dells and 2 iMacs (all have Internet access)
  • Automated Card Catalog -- Winnebago's Spectrum
  • Accelerated Reader Program -- Over 3,000 AR tests
  • Word processing -- Microsoft Word, ClarisWorks, and AppleWorks
