Government-Economic Project

SETUP:  Pretend you were on an ocean liner with about 3000 people in the South Pacific.  You run into a storm.  All electronics are lost. The storm rages for several days and the ship runs aground on an uninhabited (volcanic) island.  Everyone gets off.  Just as everyone gets off and is ashore with plenty of provisions, the ship slips off the reef and into a deep abyss without any trace.  The passengers must come up with a system of government and an economic system because you have no idea when a rescue will occur.
TASK*:  Your group is assigned a type of government and economic system that you have to create.

C.     Tell how the economy will work.  I.E.  How are goods and services produced, distributed, and consumed and who controls them.  
D.     You can give your country a name and you can make your report in a narrative form.
