Math

bullet

All students will need a 3-section spiral bound notebook with pockets. The preferred model is the Staples Spine Guard version, which holds up very well to daily wear and tear. (Note: I told the manager at Staples that he would have a run on these, so hopefully they stocked up. However, if they are out of the 3-Section variety, the 5-Section version of the Spine Guard will work just fine as well).

bullet

A pencil pouch and an ample supply of pencils. I recommend either inexpensive mechanical pencils or a high quality regular pencil such as Ticonderoga. The inexpensive pencils often do not sharpen properly because the lead is not centered, thereby wasting valuable class time.
