Pts.
May 6th We are going to put a PowerPoint together and each of you are going to present what it is like to live in Carteret County during their assembly.

You will:
  1. Choose a category about Carteret County from the list below. If you have an idea that you would like to present that isn’t listed, send it to me for approval.
  2. Email me your choice (first come, first served so choose quickly)
  3. Research and create one or two PowerPoint slides about your topic.
    • Use bullets to keep what you want to say to in the order you want say (5 or less words per bullet)
    • Include pictures of Carteret County that enhances or describes your topic
  4. Email the PowerPoint to me as an attachment at jmclendon@co.carteret.k12.nc.us
  5. Meet the deadline for the PointPoint (May 6th)
  6. You will be responsible for presenting your topic during an assembly at their school (We’ll rehearse when we get there, so brush up on your presentation skills).

    Notes:

I do not mind if two of you work together on this project.  But only two people per topic.  You will have to divide the points.  Remember to keep it to one or two pages.

If you can make your PowerPoint and there's no doubt in my mind that you can't, don't worry about the color you choose for the background or text, we'll change it to what ever we as a group agree on.

If you can't get to the media center or labs where they have PowerPoint, you can send me the information you want on each slide and attach the pictures and I'll put the slides together.

Here is the list of topics! If you don't see one that you like? Send me a suggestion and we will consider it as a topic.
