STUDENT  SAFETY  IS  A  PRIORITY  AT  BEAUFORT  ELEMENTARY

NO ONE IS ON DUTY UNTIL 7:30 AM.
Please do not drop off your child until then.

If you need to come into the building for any reason, morning or afternoon, please park in the parking lot, NOT in the loading zone.

If you are dropping off students in the morning or picking them up in the afternoon, please observe the following guidelines:

·        Enter the loading zone using the right-hand lane.

·        Watch for the colored cones which signify a “safe zone,” and pay attention to duty personnel.

·        Have your child(ren) on the right hand side of the vehicle for unloading.

·        Say your “good-byes” beforehand, and have book-bag, lunchbox, etc. packed and ready to unload when you reach the colored cones.

·        Do not pull past the crosswalk to pick up or drop off a child.  This area is for pedestrian traffic.

·        After drop-off, stay in the right lane and follow the car in front of you until you turn left to go toward Carraway Drive.  NO PASSING, please!

·        Do not drop off children in the parking lot.

·        Do not leave your car unattended in the loading/unloading zone.

Thank you for helping to make our campus a safe place for all of our children.
