5th grade

  1. Supply List

    • A three-ring notebook with subject dividers for:

      • Social Studies

      • Science

      • Math

      • Language Arts

    • Loose leaf three-ring notebook paper (needed daily)

    • 4 - spiral notebooks

    • 5 - Three prong folders with pockets

    • #2 wooden pencils (No mechanical pencils or pens are allowed in class)

    • Pencil sharpener with a container for shavings (for desk use)

    • Protractor for Math homework

    Students may purchase the following:

    • Crayons

    • colored pencils

    • markers

    • scissors

    • glue

     

  2. Fifth Grade Activities:

    • Daily:  TV News

    • Daily: Safety Patrol

    • Fridays mornings: Clubs

    • Occasional Field Trips

    • Black History Celebration

     

  3. Please note the following: 

    • Rolling book bags are not allowed in school

    • Tennis shoes are required for gym

    • Dress Code: Students should be dressed neatly and in good taste.

      • Students should wear shoes that are appropriate for PE.

      • Inappropriate words or logos on clothing are not allowed

      • Bare midriff or strapless tops are not allowed

      • Sunglasses, hats, hoods or caps should not be worn inside the building

      • Short-short or mini-skirts are not allowed

      • Pants will be fitted or secured at the waist with a belt.

       

  4. Acceptable Use Policy Update

    • We must have written permission before students photos or work can be placed on the school's website.  No names will be place with photos for identification and safety purposes.
