to the Cherry Blossom Festival .

WOW! Just because of a festival, the Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington D.C. ,people take many pictures, spring is the most anticipated season of the year, which brings along with it happiness, spectacular beauty thanks to blooming and blossoming of nearly 3,000 cherry trees.

There is also the Cherry Blossom Festival parade, and the annual Sakura Matsuri festival. This year's cherry blossom makes spring time the best time to visit Washington D.C., it bring both visitors and residents together for family fun. It must be a very good festival because hotel rooms fill up fast.

This two week long festival also celebrates the gift given by Japan, the cherry tree. They were planted in tidal basin near the Jefferson memorial. This year's festival will be held Saturday. March 26 through Sunday. April, 10,2005. The parade will occur on Saturday. April 9,2005, from 12 noon beginning at Constitution av., running from 7th to 17th streets, downtown Washington.
