Greetings to our
fellow Seadogs!
This is a very exciting time to be
part of the BES team…so many wonderful things are happening
for children here.
We are still celebrating the “High
Growth” our school experienced last year. However, we are
already looking ahead to the future and we are confident we
will continue to grow. Beaufort Elementary teachers have
had many innovative workshops in the last few weeks. This
training will help our teachers achieve even better results
in their classrooms.
Among other new tools, our teachers
now have ClassScape, which is a way to measure
student progress throughout the year. We also have the
SRI program for watching student progress. Soon, some
of our students will be using Read 180 to improve
reading skills. We are hoping to continue the very
successful after school tutoring program that began last
year.
Please ask your child about the fun
new things happening here at school. We are proud of our
school and the many programs we offer. We would love to
share more information with you if you have questions.
