7th Grade Math Mr. Weist’s 2008-2009 7th Grade Math Guidelines
1. Each Sunfish Math student is required to have the following each day: math textbook, paper, pencils (no pens), a binder and or folder to keep track of work and an AR book. You may recycle your work after each 9-week period.
2. All assignments will have proper headings on them at the top of the paper including: First and last name Date Core Assignment (w/page #) NO HEADING = NO GRADE
3. Unfinished class work will be finished for homework and due the next day (unless stated otherwise and may be collected for a grade). Be prepared for pop quizzes… I love ‘em!!! J
4. Grading Scale: 100 – 93 = A 92 –85=B 84 – 77 = C 76 – 70 = D 69 – below = F
5. Tests = 30% Quizzes = 30% Class work = 30% Homework = 10% Total = 100%

Take this home and get it signed by you and a parent or guardian for your first grade. Due tomorrow! After I have given you a grade for completing your first assignment, you will then keep this handy in your binder and/or folder for future reference.
NOTE: *** Non-completed work will be graded INC (incomplete) and late work 80%. If you are absent, you have five days to turn in missed work. I will not track you down for work. It is your responsibility! ***
