All students enrolled in C.A.R.T. will participate in a career class.  They will learn about the basics of selecting a career.   Students will share current career goals, talk about educational requirements for that career and identify personal areas of interest.  They will be asked to communicate with parents or adults in their home about career selection. Subsequent C.A.R.T. classes will focus on the use of math and technology in a variety of careers.

All eighth graders will have the opportunity to open an account on the College Foundation of North Carolina website (CFNC.org) in order to begin preparing for college application.
