LCD Projector Tips
PC2TV is software that allows you to use your wireless LCD projector with your laptop. There is an icon on your desktop for this software (if you have a ceiling mounted LCD projector and do not have this software on your laptop, please let me know). Once it is activated, you will see a list of room numbers that represents your LCD projector; select it and click on the connect button. If our image is not the size or shape that you would like, click on the double arrows that point downward on the left-side of the screen--I suggest that you leave the settings on 800X600 and unclick Pan and Scan. Miinimize this screen; do not close it while you are using your projector or you will lose the image of your laptop. From the remote on the projector, you can also change the shape of your image--different projectors have different steps to follow. If you need to change the shape of your image from your projector, email me.
If noise is coming from your projector, click on the microphone on your toolbar at the bottom of your screen and turn it off
If the video drags or stops, you need to change the hardware acceleration by right clicking on your desktop, choose properties, choose settings, choose advanced, choose troubleshoot, slide the bar all the way over to the left and click apply and then click ok, and ok to close the window
If you want to play the sound from your laptop, click on start, choose control panel, choose the Sounds and Audio Devices, click on the audio tab, click on the drop down box with the heading that says Sound Playback Default Device and choose the one that is not PC2TV, click Apply, and then OK. Remember, to close out whatever you have already opened to play and reopen it now that you have changed the settings.
