stretching out my arms

eyebrows arched

my hand held my cheek

my nose twitched

I had wide eyes

my shoulders slouched

I balled up my fists

my cheeks turned bright red

my body stiffened

I had piercing eyes

I rolled my eyes

my gritting teeth

flared nostrils

eyes peeled

my hair stood on end

my lip poked out

I had squinty eyes and a wrinkled nose

 I gasped for breath

my heart was pounding in my chest

tears trickled down my cheek

Your life

Did you have a super summer?  I most certainly did!

Wow!  My trip to North Carolina was excellent!

It was 7:00 a.m. on Saturday!

Meow…meow…That’s the sound of my favorite pet!

All dogs are wonderful creatures, but Labradors are the best!

You will never believe where I went this past summer!

WOW!  My dad is fantastic!

What’s small, furry, and cute as can be? Why, my favorite animal of course…a hamster!

“Always look before you cross the street!:  That is what my mother always tells me.

We must have traveled a million miles this past summer!

Our famous principal, Ms. Warren, is fabulously funny!

Small beady eyes!  Sharp tiny teeth!  Soft furry hair!  My favorite class pet is a hamster!

My close call with a giant alligator has certainly taught me not to dangle my feet in the water while canoeing.

After spending that cold, lonely night in the woods, I’ll never disobey my father’s warnings again.

Getting that little puppy for my birthday has changed my life.  I now have a lifelong friend who loves me, just for being me.

You can be sure I won’t be playing around lawn mowers after my long day in the emergency room.

Watching TV is okay, but reading a good mystery really gets my heart pumping.

You better be careful the next time you’re tempted to sneak outside at night.  You might run into trouble!

Now I know, even an alien from outer space needs a friend!
