Yes that date is correct… Christmas is just too close!!!!

I will thoroughly go over the report cards at our parent conference and answer any questions you might have.  I have set up conferences and I hope everyone can make their appointment.  If you can’t make the date and/or time I have assigned, please let me know as soon as possible.  If something comes up at the last minute, please call the school and tell Ms. Leslee to let me know so we can reschedule.  I only require parent conferences the first nine weeks.  You are welcome to conference any other time as well.  I look forward to meeting with you soon.

Homework:

*Math sheets are due Friday

*Read weekly story Who Works Here? at least twice together

*Complete Family Times Literacy activities together (nothing needs to be sent in for this, however it is very good practice for all students)

*Read leveled readers each night they come home (please discuss the questions on the back cover with your child, comprehension is a BIG part of reading)

*Read AR when possible

*Spelling test on Friday (long i spelling list doesn’t need to be turned back in, please keep it home for your child to practice writing on and studying)

Important!!!!!!!!!!

Remind your child to bring back all books each day (AR, leveled readers, textbook).  They should not leave any books home, except for library books which are due back each Tuesday. 

*Ask your child if he/she stayed on the red apple each day.  Some are changing colors due to being off task & of course for messing around.
