Information about the United States Supreme Court

The Supreme Court has been around for 146 years. The Supreme Court is still in full force and is somewhat in more use than what it was 100 years ago. The court itself goes through 7,000 cases on the docket per term. The number these cases will rise a years go on just like it has done in past years.
Before you enter the court you go through a security line where you have to take all items off and put them in a x-ray and show other items to a officer. When you are past the security line, the first thing you will see is a big statue of John Marshal sitting down in a chair. Turning to your right you will see a mold of the Supreme Court behind glass. Then directly behind that there will be a gift shop and everything in there is very expensive. To the left of the mold there will be a hallway. Down the hallway there will be pictures of all the chief justices. To get your picture on the wall you have to be a  retired Supreme Justice. Going out the hallway straight ahead, there is the spiral staircase. The spiral staircase is blocked from people to walk on, but you still get a good visual. Leaving the staircase you turn to the right and there is a plaque with information on John Marshal. To the left of the plaque there will be a little curved hallway. Down the hallway you will see information on different topics about the Supreme Court.
I think that if you go to the Supreme Court and go to the sites I mentioned, you will enjoy the court very much. Take this advise in consideration, there is very heavy security at this building.  You should be careful about what you carry with you to avoid any stops by security.  The most important thing to do before  you go there is to read everything because the more you read the more you will understand what to expect when you enter. Take my information and put it together and enjoy your visit to the Supreme Court.
