Information about Spirit of Washington

     In Washington D.C. one can take a cruise the ship named “Spirit of Washington”. This is a marvelous cruise that every family will enjoy. 

     It all began in 1978 when a travel company brought a World War II landing craft and rebuilt it into a dinner ship named the “Spirit of Norfolk”. Over the Next 12 years the company acquired 10 ships in 8 ports in cities across America. These cities include: Boston, New York, Chicago, New Jersey, Norfolk, Philadelphia, and Washington D.C.
In 1990 One of the top 3 international contract food companies bought Spirit Cruises and using their vast experience in marketing and food service, brought Spirit Cruises into the Leisure Division.

     To Date the 11 Ships (now including the Anabelle Lee) of the spirit enterprise have entertained over 13 million  passengers. 

     Ship features include beautiful outdoor strolling deck, outdoor patio seating, luxurious climate- controlled interior decks, dance floors, flexible seating, full- service bars, and oversized sightseeing windows. 

     Lunch Cruises include a two hour cruise with narrated tour, live musical revue, lively dance music, and bountiful buffets.

     Dinner Cruises includes three hour harbor lights cruise, plus the lunch cruise options minus the two hours cruise with narrated tour. 

     Special cruise options includes Sunday Lunch, Midnight Dance Party, Specialty Cruises, Weddings, Bar/ Bat Mitzvahs and Reunions, Christmas and Hanukkah Parties, and New Years Eve Party Cruises.
